Borknagar, Boney M and Blodsvept
Finally headlining their own tour again, I got the chance to talk with Mathias (Vreth) from Finntroll about lots of stuff. About Boney M, Grant and Forsyth, why humans are a plague to the planet and of course the new album Blodsvept.
After I Congratulated him with the new album, which is a masterpiece, I ask him how it is been received in the world?
Thank you. It’s funny actually because everybody has been talking so much good about it but for some reason it doesn’t show in the sales. It sold a little bit, you know we thought it would sell more than last album because that’s usually the way it goes but actually it sold quite less this time and on charts position it was also good but not the highest like last time. But still everybody that has been reviewing it or talking about it is like oh it is the best album you have done so far. Read More
CELTICA has found a new female piper! Jane Espie, the Phantom Piper, former band member of Saor Patrol, joined the band in record breaking time and has already played her first live performance with them
Founding member Gwendolen of Celtica isn’t able to play in the band anymore, she keeps her reasons private, but this is a big loss for the band. That’s for sure.
Sound Age Productions will release the new album of Wolfmare, entitled ‘The Sacred Mushroom and the Crows’ in June.

An Theos may be a relatively young band, but this can’t be heard when you listen to their single. Chemarea străbunilor is the name of this début of this Romanian band.
Making music with 8 people can become a great mess if you don’t know what you’re doing, but it’s obvious these folk know what they’re doing. The intro of Chemarea străbunilor is breathtaking and has this typical Romanian style but not of the typical folk-dance kind we usually hear. lees verder

It’s been a while since we heard something from Ignis Fatuu, this isn’t strange if you know they parted with their singer last year. Changes of vocalist are always a bit risky, but they have to be made sometimes. A new singer can give a bit a whole new sound. Fortunately Ignis Fatuu doesn’t let us wait for their full length to listen to their new singer. No they’ve released a single, giving us the opportunity to listen to their new singer. lees verder
Conorach has found a new guitarist!!!
By: GurThe only Agalloch and Fen show in the Netherlands this year and this in Arnhem. Willemeen is the stage where it’s all happening and the show is sold out for months! This promises a lot!
When we arrive at Willemeen there’s a huge crowd waiting for the doors to open at 18:00 hours, but we have to wait for over half an hour to see some movements in this row. lees verder
