Besides two experimental EP’s entitled Alps 1.0 en Alps 2.0 Baradj has released another EP entitled Алтынчəч. The experimental album can be downloaded for free on their Facebook page. And because of the fact they’re not metal at all, we won’t review them seperately. In my opinion they don’t belong in the discografy of Baradj, because they’re entirely different.
Алтынчəч contains additional material which wasn’t in their debutalbum. The album starts and ends with an instrumental track, wich could have been on their experimental albums. It’s a short track with nice and easy Bulgar folk, not metal at all.
When the second track begin, I was considering if I should give up on this EP also, but after a while the track turns around. The speed picks up, it becomes a lot louder and there are vocals added. This is the way I like to hear Baradj. In their older work especially the epic guitars stand out and they’re back in this song. Also the grunts in this track are very nice.
This EP sounds more like a single to me. A nice single with two bonusses addes which are nice, but which shouldn’t be missed eiter.

I sincerely hope, their next album will be more in the ‘Nardughan’ and contain more of their nice more metal like songs with epic catchy guitars.
