Oak Pantheon released ‘The Absence’
Minnesota metal band Oak Pantheon will release their long-awaited third full-length album “The Absence” today. The album showcases the band’s most eclectic yet most concise material to date as evidenced by the two singles available prior to the album’s release. “Bard of the Hell-Bent Ages” is a blackened ripper with acoustic nods to Oak Pantheon’s past, while “Listen!” violently lurches into the future. The core sound, however, remains intact and stronger than ever with contributions from bassist Jake Spanier (Phase Meridian) and drummer Andy Anderson (Kasdeja). These new players add life and vibrancy to “The Absence” that had been… absent… in prior Oak Pantheon releases.
