17th edition in 2023 , “Horns Up” for fans of medievalism and its music.
The concept to combine extreme metal and medievalism is well received and people celebrate to paganfolk , medieval marketmusic , speedfolk , medieval rock , folkmetal up to spheric black + paganmetal.

The thursday is the new 3rd festivalday.
The location is a burnt down former farm , surrounding grasland is the campingground.
Roughly 25 bands perform 3 days from 12 noon till 2 in the morning .

The lineup 2023 is complete : Subway to Sally, Corvus Corax Era Metallum, Tanzwut , Wind Rose (It), Garmarna (Swe. grandfathers of medieval music), Uuhai (mongolian folkrock), Qntal, Mutabor, Harpyie, Vanaheim (NL), Dharma (buddistic deathmetal from Taiwan), Vermilia (Fi), Koenix (CH), Deloraine (Cze), Patty Gurdy, Rauhbein, Red Rum (UK), The Privateer, Calico Jack (It), Die Habenichtse, The Blackbeers, An Theos (Ro), Pub Fiction, Wolves of War.

On a separate marketstage will perform jugglers and the marketbands:
Thursday : Feuerdorn , Friday + Saturday : Folkdandies (Bel)
A big medieval market containing all kind of different booths and stands.
Medieval camps  show medieval life from different aeras.
The very familiar atmosphere and inexpensive food/drink prices invite to an ultimate party.
More action : bow shooting /archery , ax + knife throwing, fireshows…..
