Adhur means magic powers in Euskara, the language spoken by the Basque, who live in the Pyrenees in Northern Spain and South-west France. The word has a relation with the moon, which is personification by the high god Anbotoko Mari, who was worshiped by the Basks until Christianity conquered Basque country. The name is chosen to give expression to his bond with the spiritual and musical ancient Basque world. Dark, fierce and full of atmosphere characterizes his music.
