Aiumeen Basoa is a Basque Pagan / folk metal band, founded in 2004. The name is Basque and means The Wood of the Screams. After the release of a few tracks they recorded a split CD, but after this a lot of changes in the line/up torture the band.
They are influenced by Basque folk music and Norwegian black metal. Their music is filled with changes of rhythm and the lyrics are based on Basque mythology and folklore. The lyrics are in Euskara, the 40.000 year old Basque language, which doesn’t belong to the Indo-European languages.
