In a city of northern Patagonia Argentina, at the end of 2012. On a warm spring afternoon, after taking a few jugs of beer, an idea arises. A small idea that soon took the name of Barloventos.
Between classical and folk, electric guitar chords and keyboards. The idea of mix and match these two musical genres and give coherence and life.
The first demo entitled “Epic” was born in 2013, with two own songs and a cover.
In 2014 they release their first LP titled “Contra viento y marea”.
In January 2014 from the darkest corners of the region an exotic character, joins the band taking place on the violin, offering sound that characterized the band as folk metal, folk and pirate.
