Medieval bagpipes, coupled with massive guitars, pounding bass and drums popping, supported by a brilliant fireworks show-that’s Cantus Levitas. Folk Metal from Southern Germany with catchy melodies and lyrics in languages from around the world – such as Latin, Icelandic and Old French.
The highlight, however, the medieval instruments such as market bagpipes, shawm, hurdy-gurdy and nyckelharpa, which are also still produced in the band’s own style grobschlächtigem instrument maker.
