ch'aska

The first gig of this band from Peru was in 2002. Ch’aska is the Quechua word Inca’s use when they talk about the brightest star. The word is also often used in relation to the planet planet Venus. Quechua: is the ancient language of the Inca, which is still spoken in parts of Peru and other South-American countries. The band uses Charango, Quena and Zampo, these are traditional Peruvian instruments. In 2003 the recorded a first demo.
