La Corte di Lunas is an Italian Renaissance Celtic Folk Rock band.
The group, born as a medieval formation, released their first album in 2010, “Plaudite ‘yes stronger”, in which it offers some pieces of medieval and traditional music revisited and arranged in a rock key.
A few years later, in 2012 the Court released the second album, “Ritual”, giving space to a female voice and some original pieces, for the first time the group wore a new guise passing from the re-enactment to the first stages of Italian festivals.
Later the sound became more energetic and rock, and from this a new mix was born “Lady of the lake” (2015).
In 2018 the line-up is again expanded thanks to the addition of a hurdy-gurdy, finding a new sound and a new characteristic imprint.
The will of current education is to return to the origins and traditions of the Friuli region, finding in its territorial roots a further meaning of compositional and narrative research.
