Deadkubun was born in 2010, with the firm idea of expressing his affection for the music, for the metal, Colombian and Latin American culture through melodies and instruments. However in the pursuit of their own sound as influences Deadkubun decide to take the big European Folk Metal bands like Turisas, Arkona, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, Finntroll, among others, but focus their compositions on issues and melodies of Colombia and Latin America, on the local influences rhythms like Cumbia, carranga, Salsa, Merengue, Vallenato, and even others like Blues and Swing Jazz etc, accompanied by the myths, legends, beverage, customs and places of our own land.
