Dibbukim is a Folk Metal band from Sweden, with lyrics exclusively in Yiddish. The band was born in 2009. They almost immediately began the work on a full-length album began. The first track for the upcoming release, “Oyfn Veg Shteyt a Boym” (an old Jewish folk song), was recorded in February 2010.
In late 2010 the band recruited a drummer and they could start to record the album. 12 songs, both covers and original songs, was recorded for what was named; “Az a foygl un a goylem tantsn” (“As a bird and a golem dances”).
