draugul

Draugûl started as a one-man band epic/viking metal project, and lyrically exploring the world of Tolkien and Norse Mythology. The project started out in his homeland Malta. Since 2014 though, Draugûl has moved to Sweden.
The meaning of the name Draugûl is actually in the tongue of Mordor, the black speech created by Tolkien for this saga of stories.
A first album ‘The Voyager’ was released in 2013. With the third album Draugûl introduced a guest musician on Nyckelharpa and vocals. The style is evolving more in the direction of dark folk.
