The Dropkick Murphys are grown to a very famous folk-punk-rock band. With an impressive discography and a lot of gigs around the world, they are together with Flogging Molly the big ones in this genre. But Dropkick Murphys is quite different from them, the punk has a larger part in DM’s music.
They also claim to make music for the ‘common’ man. The amount of folk in their music varies with the songs and albums, but it can be found in a lot of songs.
