Merging the genres of Folk and Power Metal with the virtuosity and technique of Progressive Rock while occasionally dipping into the ferocity of Black Metal, Eikthyrnir creates a journey for the listener in each song. With such a vast range of influence, the band crosses genres at a moment’s notice without any warning. Through this process, Eikthyrnir tells tales of epic proportions through equally magnificent songwriting. The Band’s debut release Under the Old Oak Tree is a prime example of genre crossing, energetic, and beautiful music.
