In 2009 some Norwegian and Danish metal-musicians decide to start a project together. They’re inviting a lot of guest-musicians to complete the sound.
Faanjefjell is the mountain where, like on any Norwegian mountain, the battle was fought between trolls and Christians with their expansion of houses and churches, taking all space from the trolls in ‘ancient’ Norway.
The debut-album Trollmarsj is a concept album telling about this battle.
The lyrics are in Norwegian/Danish and the Music can be described Folk/Black-metal, influences of bands like windir are very noticeable.
