Folkstone comes from Bergamo, Italy. The idea was to bring old music to live with metal. In the beginning they played with a typical bagpipe from Bergamo, the Baghet, later on it was exchanged for a medieval bagpipe. A lot of inspiration comes from well know medieval bands like In Extremo, but Folkstone is somewhat heavier. The fans of bagpipes will like Folkstone a lot.
