The project Forefather started in 1997. The goal was to make powerful and epic tributes to their Anglo-Saxon ancestors, powerful and straight from the heart. Almost immediately the two members started the recordings in their own studio. In 1999 their first album was released and it landed well in the metalworld.
Forefather kept progressing throughout the years with better equipment and more experience.
By taking part on all kinds of projects like Folkearth for instance their own music came in second place for sometime but later on these guys picked it up again.
