De Portuguese band Gwydion exists since 1995. After 3 demo’s the band signed with Trollzorn. Their music is inspired by Viking- and Folk-metal, they turned from black metal to this with the album “Ynys Mon”. The lyrics are about Celtic culture, religion and paganism.
The band isn’t very productive but with “Horn Triskelion” the band shows this is working out very well, because they release a fine album with this one.
But in 2014 the band isn’t able to come together any more and decides to quit.
The tide changes after a while and in 2016 they announce they’re back again.
