The history of Haspyd starts in 2008. The band started rehearsing, writing music that is new to Ukrainian language, ideology shapes, symbols and name.
In 2009 Haspyd recorded their debut demo single, which includes the song “flooded in January.”
They shared the stage with some of the best representatives of Ukrainian folk music – bands Tinʹ Sontsya, Veremiy, Sventoyar and they released the EP “Mother Earth “. In the autumn of the same year began recording their first full-length album. But before they release they inked a deal with Sound Age Productions, so the full length is released through that label.
