Helroth was formed in 2012, by the former bandmembers of the polish folkmetal act Vecordia. They wanted to play heavier, combining strong, male vocals with traditional female voices, flowing violin and flute melodies, powerful sounding complex guitars and a massive barrage of drums. A promo EP was released in 2013.
