Seven musicians from Hoya, Germany, decided to form a band in 2006. They decided it should be Medieval music. No, not medieval covers, but a medieval interpretation of feelings and sounds, blended with rocksongs. Impius Mundi is Latin for Wicked World. The band released a first album in 2009. In 2013 they performed at Wacken.
