The journey of Gürz began in 2006. They fuse folk influenced melodies, metal music and classical elements. After a few line-up changes the band was finally complete in 2012.
The songs are lyrically based on Folktales, Central Asian myths, Ancient Middle-Eastern Sagas and fantasy fiction. Where musically harmonized with enchanting melodies, stunning rhythmic guitars, charming orchestrations, powerful drumming and perfected with extreme vocals as well as catchy clean vocals which will take you into the lands of imagination and the past.
The debut EP of the band was released at in 2012 through its official website, free of charge.
End 2015 they change the name into Khepra, and with that name they will release a first album in 2016.
