In the mud of the Pontine Marshes the Korrigans were born, the first compositions were already contaminated by folk, which then became a true trademark. However, the lineup changes often. The true spirit of Korrigans is materialized also with the arrival of the folk sound of accordion and keyboards and the black metal approach of the vocals. When the line up is completed they recorded their first demo “Korrigans”. The idea is to propose melodies derived from European folk and Celtic music, enriched by massive black metal components designed to remember the history of our ancestors up to recount the ancestral pagan traditions.
Their first full length “Ferocior Ad Rebellandum” is released in 2014.
