Mägo de Oz

Mägo of Oz founded piece by piece in 1989 got their first stable in 1995. Every year Mägo de Oz was one of the most important bands from Madrid, due to their original compositions and their live concerts. Their music is wide open to many styles and influences, but heavy metal and Celtic form the basis. In 1994 the first CD was released. Holding on to their unique style they made a concept album after this, based on landscapes and themes from the immortal work of Miguel de Cervantes, El Quijote. In 2002 the album “Folktergeist” was released which sold very well.
