Mornir is a pagan metal band from Freising near Munich, Germany. The band was founded in 2011.
Mornir combines elements of pagan, folk, death and black metal, without limiting themselves to a certain sub-genre.
After a few line-up changes, the band has become a five-piece again, consisting of two guitars, vocals, drums, bass and also a violin.
In 2013 a first demo was released, produced by their friend Bernd Intveen.
In May 2015 they released an first EP called “Entfesselt” (German for “unleashed”).
