It took a while before the original idea behind Rauta could be put in a real song. After two years of thinking and talking eventually a band was formed. The songwriting started in 2003. The music is influenced freejazz and folk and metal. The original idea was to mix folk and metal, but the result is more progressive rock and ethnologic Music. When you like real metal, this might be a little to soft.
