Ruyan is a harmonious combination of metal and folk music. Female growl and merry folk melodies as at mourning lyrics. Parts of balalaika and choral singing make the sound of the group really folky. Gloomy guitar reefs give the base to the music. This Powerful lyrical atmosphere brings us back at the times when Slavs honored Native Gods, kept the covenants of primogenitors and were united. In 2010 a debut album “Heritage” was released.
