Svartsot

Five man in a rehearsal room in Randers, Denemark. Some of them have already played together, others have no experience on stage at all. Svartsot is born. Their Music is a mix of metal and Scandinavian folk. The Danish lyrics are mainly about women, beer and heavy battles, based on Nordic mythology and ancient Danish tales. After the first concert the bands misses some folk-influences and they altered the line line-up. The drummer was changed and a whistler/bodran player was added. In 2005 they decide to record a demo, which was well received by the press. The band signs a deal with Napalm Records and releases their First full length in 2007. Merry folk-metal with an incredibly low voice. In 2008 4 members decide to leave the band. But Cris manages to get a brand new line-up.
