Sverdkamp hails from the western part of Norway in the region called Ryfylke. Originally a one-piece band Sverdkamp recorded some demos in 2010 but they were never released.
The goal is to make Sverdkamp a full band. Style can be describes as folk-influenced Viking/Black metal.
In 2018 the band decides to quit.
