The Dreadnoughts was founded in Canada in 2006. They started as a support for The Real McKenzies, the grandfathers of Celtic punk. They drag their violin, accordion, mandolin, tin whistle, guitars and drums into every venue which will have them. Their motto “Polka’s Not Dead”.
