In 2007 the Epic Pagan Metal Band Thorondir was founded. Because of the fact it took quite long before the band found a proper rehearsal-room, the music was evolving rather slowly in the beginning. After a change of members, the band was encouraged and soon a record-deal was a fact.
The concept of the band is based on old German and heathen mythology. The lyrics are about gods and battles form the ancient past, but also about the beauty and perfection of nature. Fierce guitars, fast drums, a raw voice and a small epic and mystical keyboard-juice.
