In 2007, Vetrodar of the Russian metal band Pagan Reign, founded the band Tverd, after Pagan Reign split up.
Russian frost ruled over Tver’s land whereas clarity and freshness from overflowed new ideas and goals ruled over the mind.
The idea of classical vocal presence in the music had been already discussed for a long time. So, they offered Tver State University’s folkloric-ethnographic ensemble’s leader to take the vocal part.
One of the future album’s composition “Bogatyr’s Gate“ was built as some metal folk opera.
In 2008 they released a first album “The native land’s heart“.
