Swedish Folk Metal Band Utmarken use the hurdy-gurdy to give their music a nice Scandinavian touch. Utmarken is Swedish for the outlying areas, that’s where the band gets its inspiration from.
They released their self-entitled début-album in early 2016 through Einheit Productionen.
Sadly almost all members quit at the end of the same year, making the future of this delicious folk-metalband uncertain.
