;Valfreya is a band native from Montreal, Canada and was formed 2009. The frontwoman of the band had written several songs that she wanted to perform with a full band. Having a preference for an aggressive, glorious and energetic kind of music, the viking metal style was a perfect match. Valfreya’s music tells a story inspired from Norse mythology. The band basically becomes story tellers and they do this in a unique way with their frontwoman.
The band releases an acoustic album ‘Acoustic Chronicles’ in 2013.
