Vegvisir was founded as Tysyachelistnik in 2006. Because this name was to complicated for people outside Russia, they changed their name into Vegvisir in 2018.
The plays Folk / Epic Viking / Black metal or like they say themselves Varyag Metal.
The theme of their work are the early Middle-ages when Vikings ruled large areas around the Nordsea.
