Verbal Deception, founded in 2002, combines folk, death, progressive and power metal elements. Shortly after the release of their EP in 2004 there were some changes in the line-up. In 2006 they released a debut-album. The Music, often described as Pirate Metal can’t be compared with a band like Alestorm. The music is much more folk-metal.
