The story of Virrasztók started in 2008. The Hungarian band creates folk-rock and folk-metal. With a nice clean female vocals and typically Hungarian folk-elements on two violins.
A demo was recorded in 2008 followed by a debut-album in 2009.
When they release their third album in 2014, they’re cut down to a four-piece and the violin has no longer part a big part in their sound.
In 2018 the mastermind and frontman of the band dies, and this means the end of the band as well.
