Wolfmare was known until 2007 as Wolfsangel. From the start the band wanted to put down a complete act, and not only make music. The band sings in English but there are also some sacred texts in ancient languages like Latin and Old-German. The first album was released when the band was known as Wolfsangel. With the second album they no longer used samples, but they recorded all acoustic instruments like bagpipe, cello, violin, etc live. The grunts and scream vocals were changed in clear male and female vocals which improved their music a lot.
