The band started in 2011 in the desire to create original music, the founders sought out the remaining members. Together they formed an epic-folk metal band called Zaria. First original songs came into existence that very year, their number steadily growing throughout the following years. 2012 saw the beginning of their concerts. After some nice gigs they, they took off to the DYZ Sonic Temple Studio where they recorded their first four songs and released them on an EP entitled Sij obzorja (Glow of the Horizon).
