The band Žrec was founded in 2004 in the south-western part of Czech Republic. Despite of the fact the band started with pagan metal, a fresh wind blew in 2005 when the band got Ingvarr on keys. In 2006 they recorded a First demo. In the following months a lot of new songs were written. The band go tan upgrade in the same time with authentic folk-instruments like violin, flute and bagpipe. There were some problems with their violin-player who left the band. Fortunately he came back later and the band can move ahead.
In 2018 the band decides to quit.
