Slaves & Gods and…

Helsott has been leading the charge for American Folk Metal since day one. With a heavy and diversified sound, they have managed to capture attention with many a metal fan. The new album “Slaves And Gods for label M-Theory will go even further in garnering a wider fan base. Featuring numerous guest appearances and a few more tangible style additions, Helsott are holding nothing back for the future. The mighty Helsott have returned to pummel you once again….this time with a 5 track EP entitled “The Healer” being released on April 28th on their new label, M-Theory Audio. This time around, the Helsottians have done some new things, further broadening their already huge appeal and audience. Lead vocalist Eric Dow answered some questions for us regarding the new EP, the new label and a few other things… check it out…

Congratulations on your new EP “The Healer” even though it is not officially released yet, have you been getting some feedback regarding it?
“Thank you. Not much feedback yet on the EP as a whole but we have been getting a lot of great feedback from the lyric video we released. I am sure Helsótt fans are going to enjoy this EP.”

Helsott from southern California US have released an amazing album recently called Woven. It is there first full length album following the release of an EP called Folkvangr in 2011. With a blend of thrash and pagan metal influences it became of one of favs of 2014. I spoke with Eric Dow (vocalist) to see how things are faring in the Helsott camp and their plans for the near future……
First of all, congratulations on one of my favorite albums of 2014. How has the album been received so far?
Thanks, I am glad you enjoy the album. The reception for Woven thus far has been very positive. We have been humbled yet again by our amazing fans.
